Hye! we're from SMK Wangsa Melawati ! we are the representative for The River of Life Public Outreach Programme (ROL-POP) . Our group name is YOUNG RANGERS :D Our members are Rafhanah (Leader), Farra, Syahirah, Ismawati , Aina and the most important person are Pn. Zainun and Pn.Nur Syifa as our teacher guider .
April 23 was the best experience !
The programme started with a briefing from the VVVIP . After the briefing , we went to Site 2 of Sungai Kelang.We did the chemical and physical monitoring .We are guided by our facilitator and we had so much fun doing the activity .

Turbidity
We checked the turbidity of water .Turbidity is a measure of cloudiness of water- the cloudier the water, the greater the
turbidity. The result for the turbidity is 0JTU which means Excellent .
pH Value
pH is a measurement of the activity of hydrogen ions in a water sample. 7 is the pH value we got for the result which means it was Neutral .
Dissolved Oxygen (DO)
Dissolved oxygen (DO) is found in a microscopic bubbles of oxygen that are mixed in the water and occur between water molecules .DO is a very important indicator of a water body's ability to support aquatic life. The result for DO is 4 ppm which means Fair .
Phosphate
Phosphate is usually found in water and is a necessary element for plants and animals.Phosphate naturally enters water from plant and animal by-products and is a nutrient that acts as a fertilizer for aquatic plants. According to the result we got 2 ppm which means it was Good .
Nitrate
Nitrate is one of the main ingredients in fertilizer. The result we get for nitrate is 0 ppm which means Excellente !
Temperature
The result for temperature is 28'C . That's mean Excellent .
